PRETREATMENT SYSTEMS
InfraCorpoffers a wide variety of custom designed water treatment equipment;
Our pretreatment solutions include clarification, softening, filtration (both pressure & gravity), chemical feed systems and sludge handling.
Raw water sources like , surface, ground, municipal, sea or others, require pre-treatment before the water can be further treated in most pure water treatment systems.
Pretreatment systems can include various types of equipment to remove color, suspended solids, dissolved solids and other contaminants harmful to the pure water treatment system and the industrial process of our clients.
Our Technologies Include:
Clarification
- Turbidity and TSS Removal
- Softening
- Cold Lime Softening
- Warm Lime Softening
- Hot Lime Softening
- Caustic Softening
Filtration (Pressure & Gravity)
- Media Filtration
- Activated Carbon
- Iron & Manganese Removal
- Mill Scale Removal
Chemical Feed Systems
Sludge Handling
- Thickener
- Filter Press
- Centrifuge
PRESSURE FILTERS
Horizontal Media Filters
Filtration is used for removal of solids from raw water , sea water , surface water or wastewater. This prepares the water for use as potable, boiler, or cooling make-up. Wastewater filtration helps users meet more stringent effluent discharge permit requirements.
Horizontal Pressure Filters allow you to:
- Maximize filtration area per footprint
- Maintain system pressure through the treatment process
- Eliminate backwash supply pumps
- Utilize several media configurations
Vertical Pressure Filter
InfraCorpPressure Filters have proven their ability to meet any water filtration problem efficiently and economically in hundreds of installations worldwide, and in a wide range of industrial plants, municipalities and utilities.
InfraCorpPressure Filters are available in vertical and horizontal designs, in any convenient size, and with valve arrangements to meet any custom or special .MultiMedia filters are essentially particle separators a properly designed , MMF can remove 10 to 15 micron particles , visible particles are ~40 microns.
MMF Filters are typically used as a prime filtration stage or polishing filters after our NanoDAF™ and Clarifier systems.
LAMMELLA FILTERS NANO-SETTLER™
NANO-SETTLER™ is used When space savings is an issue and the suspended solids are low, a Lamella Clarifier may be the right choice for initial pretreatment. Numerous inclined plates increase the effective settling area. A separate flash/floc tank is used for mixing and reaction of the polymer and coagulant chemicals. Lamella Plate Clarifier is very suitable in all different clarifiers and removing sand
DISSOLVED AIR FLOTATION Nano-DAF™ TECHNOLOGY
Nano-DAF™ could be supplied standalone equipment or a combination ofInfraCorp other technologies in order to increase the removal rate .The patented Nano-DAF™ technology in some cases does not require compressed air or bottom scraping. Dissolved air is provided to the system at the point of entry and all along the bottom of the flotation tank and this ensures very efficient operation and maximum removal of solids.
Where water is re-circulated for economic and environmental reasons, grease, oil, fat, floating and suspended solids, settling material, and dissolved components need to be separated to provide good and uniform water quality. Also recovery of valuable product from the water may be another additional objective. In addition, clogging and excessive wear of pipelines and other associated equipment …
TUBE SETTELR CLARIFIER T-FLOC™ TECHNOLOGY
Clarifiers are used as pre-treatment units for treating turbid waters having higher suspended and colloidal particles (surface water sources like rivers, streams and sea) and down / up stream of biological processes in waste water treatment.
The clarifiers help settlement of colloidal particles by providing a larger surface area. Conventional clarifiers as well as compact and space efficient tube settlers with smaller footprints are used for this purpose. Accessories like flash mixers, flocculators and chemical feeding systems are offered as part of the system.
CLARIFICATIONS
Clarifiers are settling tanks built with mechanical means for continuous removal of solids being deposited by sedimentation.
A clarifier is generally used to remove solid particulates or suspended solids from liquid for clarification and (or) thickening.
Clarification is an essential step in a water or wastewater treatment process to remove suspended solids through gravity settling, providing a clarified liquid effluent.
First, understanding primary and secondary clarification is needed to determine the appropriate technology to meet treatment requirements.
Primary clarification, also known as sedimentation, is the first step in the water treatment process for removing suspended solids (TSS), oil and grease.
A typical primary clarifier removes 60 percent of suspended solids and 30 to 40 percent of Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD).
Secondary clarification follows the biological treatment process with the main goal of returning activated sludge.
