The Critical Link to Energy Sources

The environmental impact and value of electrolytic hydrogen are entirely dependent on the source of the electricity used.

Grey/Blue Hydrogen: If the electricity comes from fossil fuels (e.g., a coal or natural gas power grid), the hydrogen is not clean. When paired with Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), it is sometimes called “Blue Hydrogen.”

Green Hydrogen: This is the ultimate goal. When the electricity is sourced from renewable energy like solar, wind, or hydropower, the hydrogen produced is called “Green Hydrogen.” It is a carbon-free energy carrier from production to use.

PSA  is one of INFRACORP’s core gas purification technologies, engineered to deliver high-purity hydrogen for industrial, mobility, and energy applications. PSA operates on the principle that gas molecules are attracted to and selectively adsorbed onto the surface of a solid adsorbent material to different degrees. This adsorption strength increases under high pressure, enabling separation of hydrogen from other gas components.

INFRACORP’s PSA systems ensure the product hydrogen meets strict purity specifications required for chemical processing, fuel cells, mobility applications, and storage.
